서울 - Seoul

June 26 - 30, 2024

Saying goodbye is never easy — and leaving South Korea was one of the hardest goodbyes I've had to make.

From one last stroll through the hanok-lined streets of Insadong to a full-circle coffee moment on my final morning in Seoul, these last days were filled with quiet reflection and complex emotions. We said goodbye to the Ibis, packed our overflowing suitcases, and made our way to an airport hotel that felt like a relic of another era. As our group slowly drifted apart, the reality of going home began to settle in.

This final chapter captures everything from the beauty of Incheon Airport to the exhaustion of delayed flights, unexpected kindness from strangers, and the long, hazy journey back to California. These were the last steps of a life-changing trip—and the first steps toward whatever comes next.
